Max Poteet

It is with great sadness that Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors announces the death of longtime colleague, Max Poteet.

Max was the personal canine companion of Mr. Thomas C. “Tommy” Poteet, Sr. and served as the funeral home grief therapy dog.

In addition to being Mr. Poteet’s best friend, Max comforted countless bereaved families with his familiar face and loving demeanor. He was often considered the most popular member of the staff and had a remarkable presence that is truly irreplaceable.
